How to make French toast without eggs

The surreptitious to making French toast without eggs is in using nutritional yeast, which brings that distinctly eggy flavor (while being totally vegan). We'll combine the nutritional yeast with our other flavour makers and milk to create a batter in which to dip our bread!

Bread in French toast liquid

Footstep 1: Coat the bread in batter
Dip you bread into the batter. Stale staff of life is best because it won't go quite as mushy when yous dip it in the batter (though I've used fresh bread with success as well).

You lot can also experiment with different types of breads! I used a basic sturdy white bread here, but thick slabs of sourdough or wheat bread work bang-up.

Pace two: Cook the French toast
Then simply saute the bread until golden chocolate-brown! While yous can utilize cooking spray to grease the pan, I adopt to utilise a bit more fat (like oil or margarine) to give this vegan French toast a delicious and crispy exterior!
